Regen will be completing renovation work across the building and we have asked them to provide our residents with items and support to increase community activities. We had 12 responses from our survey to understand what our residents would like delivered from ReGen.

While 6 residents felt very positive about the sense of community 2 residents felt it to be very weak, with the same 6 residents already interacting with their neighbours regularly. To help more residents interact with each other people felt that having community events such as afternoon teas, games or movie nights would be good. Taking part in community activities such as clean ups or residential councils was not something they would enjoy. However, to support the movie nights it has been suggested ReGen provide a large TV for the communal room as the building already has a TV licence in place.

The outside area was of interest and a request for a seating area to enjoy in nice weather was suggested. Alongside the survey residents told us that they would also like some British Sign Language courses.
