Funding is now available to charities, community groups, and not-for-profit organisations for new community projects to be delivered within Gresham/Newport, Middlesbrough before March 2026. The Skills & Wellbeing Fund, is designed to help voluntary and community sector organisations build capacity, in order to enhance their offer around 4 themes.
1. Employment & Skills
2. Community Safety
3. Addiction
4. Youth Provision
You don’t have to be from Gresham/Newport, but the project must be delivered and benefit the people in this area in relation to one of the 4 themes listed above.
You can apply for up to £1000.
Funding will be allocated to the most creative and innovative ideas which add excitement to the area of Gresham/Newport and are likely to have the greatest impact. It will support your application if you can demonstrate resident involvement in the development of your idea and you have considered how the project will be maintained after funding has ended.
