Things we can't fund

    • Capital appeals or running costs of fee charging residential homes, nurseries, and other such care facilities
    • Hospitals, Health Service Trusts, medically related appeals, and medical equipment
    • Individuals
    • Local Authorities
    • Private businesses  
    • Overseas travel, activities and accommodation
    • Loans, repayment of loans or retrospective funding
    • National Appeals
    • Religious advancement or religious buildings
    • Activities that are primarily the responsibility of statutory agencies
    • Political Activities
    • Where Thirteen or another agency is already providing or funding similar local activity
    • Wages and salaries of staff employed by your group/organisation (including sessional workers)
    • DBS Checks
    • Insurance
    • Utility costs (including broadband, telephone, and mobile phone contracts) 
    • Fixtures and Fittings
    • Retrospective funding
    • Activities affiliated with gambling (bingo, raffle prizes, tombola etc.)  

    Things to check before applying

    • You have a suitable bank account for monies to be transferred and can provide proof of bank account.  We do not transfer money to individual or joint person accounts.
    • You are a not-for-profit group such as a constituted voluntary group, community group, residents association or registered charity.
    • You agree to provide feedback which may include; a report including the number of people engaged in your activity, case study, video and/or photos.
    • You are open to working with Thirteen Communications Team (if applicable) to promote your project on social media and other tenant communications.
    • You understand funds will be released following receipt of a signed grant agreement, which Thirteen will arrange.
    • You will keep all receipts and provide proof of purchase if requested.
    • You will deliver your project or event and provide outcomes by 01.03.26.
