Digital exclusion can lead to issues such as
Limited access to essential services such as healthcare, benefits systems, housing applications
Employment barriers
Financial disadvantage including no access to online banking
Education and learning gaps
Social isolation
FarrPoint, in partnership with the Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA), is compiling a picture of digital inclusion support across the Tees Valley and we are helping them to collate data concerning what our experiences are and what we offer to customers who are digitally excluded (e.g. through digital skills training, device donations, support with accessing connectivity, advice for getting online, signposting etc). In turn, this will provide the TVCA with unified insights to better coordinate activity and guide policy decisions for communities across the region.
Please ask your team, or nominate a representative/volunteer from your team to complete the below survey. Let's keep doing our best to get and keep our customers connected!
